Baseball Recap: Converse Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Converse's offense. They came up short against the Leesville Wampus Cats on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Wampus Cats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Converse's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Leesville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Converse will challenge Southwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Converse is facing Southwood at the right time seeing as Southwood is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Leesville, they will square off against Hicks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
