Basketball Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

Davenport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 63-55 to the Sebring Blue Streaks. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Streaks earlier this season, when they won 79-49.

Sebring got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Toney out in front who posted 16 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was David Allen, who had 12 points.

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Sebring, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Davenport has already played their next match, a 70-59 victory against Lakeland on the 25th. As for Sebring, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-47 loss against George Jenkins on the 25th.
