Volleyball Recap: Mesa Verde Beats Waterford for Their Fourth Straight Win

Mesa Verde waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Waterford Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Mesa Verde's offense was headlined by Isaac Kambur and Matthew Camarillo, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Vernon Stahl and his 16 assists. Eddie Montepeque controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mesa Verde's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Waterford, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

Mesa Verde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Newark Memorial on the 29th. As for Waterford, they will square off against Modesto Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
