Basketball Recap: West Charlotte Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

West Charlotte's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 65-53 win over the Hough Huskies. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 30-point performance the matchup before.

West Charlotte found their leader in sophomore Amen(AC) Pressley, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pressley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cha Cho Womack, who posted 16 points.

West Charlotte has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Hough, they dropped their record down to 7-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

West Charlotte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-57 victory against Harding University on the 8th. As for Hough, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 47-45 defeat against Mallard Creek on the 9th.
