Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Classical Academy and Victor Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Trinity Classical Academy had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Jackrabbits, falling 88-53. The Knights were down 71-44 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Victor Valley was led to victory by AIDEN TANKS and JESIAH HYDER. TANKS posted 25 points, while HYDER earned 21 points. HYDER is becoming a predictor of the Jackrabbits' success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 9-14 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of DARIUS BATISTE, who had 11 points.

Trinity Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Victor Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.

As of now, neither Trinity Classical Academy nor the Jackrabbits have any future games scheduled.
