Softball Recap: Andrean Fighting 59ers vs. Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles

Andrean had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles an 11-0 shutout on Monday. 11 seems to be a good number for Andrean as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Sadie Drousias made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Drousias has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Drousias was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
