Volleyball Recap: Century Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Baylea Crain and Hayden Anderson

Century lost against Elverado back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centurions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.

Century's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hayden Anderson, who had eight digs and six aces, and Baylea Crain, who had 19 digs. Crain is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Elverado, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Century didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cobden on the 20th. As for Elverado, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Zeigler-Royalton on the 20th.
