Potomac School came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings on Friday as the Potomac School Panthers made off with a 48-22 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Potomac School's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Triston Davis and Jake Adamec.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kashez Gedeon, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The victory got Potomac School back to even at 1-1. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
