Volleyball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield lost against Lone Star back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Springfield took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lone Star.

Cobi Mackey paced Springfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Mackey got some help from Dakota Reid and her eight assists.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Lone Star, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Springfield has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Denver Waldorf on the 18th. As for Lone Star, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Dolores on the 18th.
