Fort Wayne South Side's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the DeKalb Barons. The Archers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 7, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-19.

David Plo paced Fort Wayne South Side's offense, picking up nine kills. Plo got some help from Zin Oo and his 22 assists. Finally, Plo was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

The victory got Fort Wayne South Side back to even at 4-4. As for DeKalb, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne South Side will venture away from home to challenge Fort Wayne Wayne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Archers are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for DeKalb, they are taking a road trip to square off against Leo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
