Basketball Recap: Murdock Takes a Loss

Murdock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Narragansett Regional Warriors and fell 58-8. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-5.

Narragansett Regional got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaelyn Cote out in front who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Haddocks, who scored 12 points.

Murdock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Narragansett Regional, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Murdock will square off against West Boylston at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Narragansett Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bromfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
