It's playoff time, and Juab had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Summit Academy Bears 15-0 on Saturday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Wasps this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Dusti Draper, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Madi Blankenagel was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Juab  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Summit Academy only managed three  hits.
Juab has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Summit Academy,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-16.
 Looking ahead, Juab will venture away from home to  square off against Union  at 12:30  p.m.  on Saturday. The Wasps' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7  runs per game this season. Summit Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
