Soccer Game Preview: East Paulding vs. Rome

East Paulding hasn't had much luck against Rome recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. East Paulding will face off against Rome at 6:00 p.m.

East Paulding is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of South Paulding.

Meanwhile, Rome kept a clean sheet against New Manchester on Friday. They blew past the Jaguar 10-0. It was an even better day for Emily Cooper as she scored three goals for her team.

The win made it two in a row for Rome and bumps their season record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those two matchups. As for East Paulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

East Paulding couldn't quite get it done against Rome in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can East Paulding avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
