Baseball Game Preview: Wayne County Cardinals vs. McCreary Central Raiders

For the second straight game, Wayne County will face off against McCreary Central. The Cardinals will face off against the Raiders at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Wayne County got the win against McCreary Central by a conclusive 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For McCreary Central's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolton Summers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

McCreary Central's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
