Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park fell victim to De La Salle and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Meteors, falling 11-0. The Lions have struggled against the Meteors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Lincoln Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Alvarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for De La Salle, they pushed their record up to 24-10 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Lincoln Park will take on ITW David Speer Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Pride have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. De La Salle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
