Football Recap: Withrow's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Withrow was riding high fresh off their 49-12 takedown of Dunbar last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 35-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Salle Lancers on Friday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Withrow fell to 4-1. As for La Salle, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.

Looking ahead, Withrow will be playing in front of their home fans against Taft at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for La Salle, they will head out to face off against Archbishop Moeller at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight.
