Preview: Robinson Bulldogs vs. West Rowan Falcons

Robinson is on a five-game streak of home wins, while West Rowan is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Robinson Bulldogs will take on the West Rowan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Robinson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 611 points over their last eight matches.

Even though Lake Norman Charter scored an imposing 71 points on Tuesday, Robinson still came out on top. Robinson took their contest against Lake Norman Charter 81-71. Given Robinson's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Lake Norman Charter is ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brian Rowe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of D'nas White, who scored 15 points.

Meanwhile, West Rowan took a serious blow against Central Cabarrus on Tuesday, falling 87-37. West Rowan has not had much luck with Central Cabarrus recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Robinson is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for West Rowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Robinson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against West Rowan in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 71-65 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was West Rowan's Will Givens Jr., who scored 24 points along with two steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Robinson still be able to contain Givens Jr.? There's only one way to find out.
