Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Clayton Comets

Southeast Raleigh and Clayton are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Clayton Comets at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southeast Raleigh's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.

Last Saturday, Southeast Raleigh came up short against J.H. Rose and fell 67-59.

Meanwhile, Clayton also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Greenfield by a score of 74-65. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Southeast Raleigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Southeast Raleigh took their win against Clayton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 93-71. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Clayton's Justice Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards.
