Volleyball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carver High School of Engineering & Science can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Holy Redeemer Royals on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Carver High School of Engineering & Science has suffered since April 24th.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Hayden Fleegle, who had seven digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted since back in May.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Holy Redeemer, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 31-5.

As of now, neither Carver High School of Engineering & Science nor Holy Redeemer have any future games scheduled.
