Softball Recap: Logan County Comes Up Short

Logan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 14-11 to the Edmonson County Wildcats. Even if the Cougars couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Haley Henson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season. Kinsley Taylor was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Logan County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Edmonson County, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Logan County by a score of 14-11 later that day.
