Basketball Game Preview: Lansing Bobcats vs. Newark Valley Cardinals

Lansing is 0-3 against Newark Valley since December of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lansing Bobcats duke it out with the Newark Valley Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Lansing will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Lansing is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Whitney Point by a score of 63-52 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Newark Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 51-38 to Watkins Glen. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lansing has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Newark Valley, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

Things could have been worse for Lansing, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-30 loss to Newark Valley in their previous matchup back in January.
