St. Anthony won the last time they faced Holy Trinity and things went their way on Tuesday too. The St. Anthony's Friars claimed a resounding 63-22 win over the Holy Trinity Titans. Given the Friars' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Titans are ranked 622nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holy Trinity's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Desiree Smith, who posted five points and ten rebounds, and Alana Goodson, who put up seven points. Smith is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Sariah Paul-Parmanand also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for St. Anthony's, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points over those games. As for Holy Trinity, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

St. Anthony's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Trinity, they will challenge Sacred Heart Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
