Volleyball Recap: Kearns Takes a Loss

Kearns came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Brighton Bengals.

Kearns took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-19.

Kearns dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brighton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearns will venture away from home to square off against Cottonwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brighton, they will take on Olympus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
