Volleyball Recap: Whitney Young's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Whitney Young had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Kenwood Broncos by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Delilah Roman paced Whitney Young's offense, picking up six kills. Roman got some help from Jordyn McCoy and her eight assists. Roman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Whitney Young's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Kenwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Whitney Young didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Chicago University on the 11th. As for Kenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lisle on the 11th.
