Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Cascade

Cascade entered their tilt with Ridgeview on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They enjoyed a cozy 56-38 win over the Wolfpack.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cascade to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaegan Young, who posted 18 points. The game was Young's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizzie Keele, who put up 14 points.

Cascade's victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will finish 2025 at home by hosting Moore County at 2:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Ridgeview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gate City at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
