It was a good run, but Lapeer unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams Highlanders. The Lightning were not able to make up for their loss to the Highlanders from their previous meeting back in August of 2019.

Lapeer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14-1.

Lapeer has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Troy on the 27th. As for Adams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Saline on the 27th.
