Lapeer lost against Adams back in August of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lightning fell 2-0 to the Highlanders. The Lightning's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elizabeth Fisher paced Lapeer's offense, picking up five kills. Fisher got some help from Allison Rutledge and her ten assists.

Lapeer's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Adams, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14-1 record this season.

Lapeer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Troy on the 27th. As for Adams, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Saline on the 27th.
