Volleyball Recap: Jeffersontown Takes a Loss

Jeffersontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fairdale Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jeffersontown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fairdale, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Jeffersontown will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. The match will give the Chargers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Fairdale, they will head out to challenge Spencer County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
