Volleyball Game Preview: Preuss UCSD Tritons vs. Castle Park Trojans

The Preuss UCSD Tritons will head out on the road to take on the Castle Park Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Preuss UCSD will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Preuss UCSD is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Hoover.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 23-25, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Castle Park came up short against Montgomery last Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 17-25, 25-11.

Preuss UCSD's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Castle Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.

Preuss UCSD might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Castle Park in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Tritons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
