After a string of 21 wins dating back to last season, Liberty's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kerman Lions.

Liberty saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Baird, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kerman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Liberty will be playing at home against Clovis East at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kerman, they are taking a road trip to take on El Diamante at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
