Basketball Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

Peninsula lost against San Pedro back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Peninsula Panthers took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Pedro Pirates.

Peninsula has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for San Pedro, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Peninsula will square off against Lynwood on Saturday. As for San Pedro, they will be taking part in a tournament against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something San Pedro surely won't give up without a fight.
