Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against East Dayton Christian

Christian Academy won the last time they faced East Dayton Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on East Dayton Christian with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Christian Academy was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-15.

Becca Keller paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Keller got some help from Kelsi Hiler and her 28 assists. Hiler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

The victory got Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for East Dayton Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Academy will square off against Grand Lake Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Dayton Christian, they will face off against Spring Valley Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
