Volleyball Game Preview: Nova Titans vs. Taravella Trojans

After both having extra time off, the Nova Titans and the Taravella Trojans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Nova earned a 3-1 win over Everglades.

While Nova might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Everglades scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Taravella, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Coral Glades on Wednesday.

Taravella had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-13.

Taravella has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Nova, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
