Littleton had to settle for second on Monday, but Alyson Laing sure wasn't going down easily. Laing turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Laing and Littleton will challenge Tyngsborough at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long.
