Softball Recap: South Central Trojans vs. St. Paul Flyers

South Central lost to St. Paul on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans lost 11-5 to the Flyers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zaida Myers made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydnee Middaugh, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

South Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for St. Paul, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, South Central will take on Monroeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul, they will square off against Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Big Red have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.77 runs per game on average), something the Flyers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
