Paraclete extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 15-13 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Desert Christian Knights a 6-0 shutout. The Spirits have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Anthony Hernandez looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carlo Ramirez was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two runs.

As for Desert Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-2 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

On Desert Christian's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

As of now, neither Paraclete nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
