            Football Preview: Tolland Eagles vs. Rocky Hill Terriers        
        
		
        
        
            Tolland and Rocky Hill are an even 4-4 against one another  since October of 2015, but  not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Terriers at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Tolland will be strutting in after a  win while Rocky Hill will be coming in after a  loss.
While Tolland's  victory against Lewis Mills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won a  game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Spartans 22-21. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.
 Symon Snyder was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 126 yards and one  score while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.  Ryan Boor made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

 Tolland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Boor and  Anthony Wells. Wells also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with ten. Boor got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Rocky Hill lost to Plainville on the road  by a   35-20 margin on Thursday. The Terriers haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Rocky Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tolland, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 Tolland beat Rocky Hill 29-18  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
