Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Skyline Spartans
The Jackson Timberwolves came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Skyline 53-50. For Jackson, this counts as revenge for the 62-60 loss Skyline walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2020.
Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Mcferran, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 21 rebounds. Mcferran is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last ten games he's played. Colby Cooke was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
