Basketball Recap: Arcadian Davis Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win + How To Watch

Seffner Christian won the last time they faced Cambridge Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders took down the Lancers 67-52. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Seffner Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Arcadian Davis, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 16 boards. Davis also grabbed four steals, which is notable because the Crusaders are 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Vernon Lee Jr, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 19 points and four steals.

Seffner Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Cambridge Christian lost, don't look at Caden Martinez. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-11 en route to 23 points. Martinez is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Lenardos, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten assists.

Seffner Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Cambridge Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.
