Volleyball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lourdes Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19.

Emmie Melbo paced Houston's offense, picking up three kills. Melbo got some help from Olivia Yohe and her nine assists.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lourdes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Houston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Simley on the 6th. As for Lourdes, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cotter on the 6th.
