Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arroyo). They really took it to the Mountain View Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 33-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their six-point performance the match before.
A big part of Arroyo's victory came down to the chemistry between Leslie Saldivar and her top target Ayleen Bravo. Saldivar rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns while Bravo picked up 91 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Bravo a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).
Arroyo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
