            For the second straight game, Rock Academy will face off against St. Joseph Academy. The Warriors will take on the Crusaders at 2:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rock Academy has seven straight  wins, St. Joseph Academy has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Rock Academy's  victory against St. Joseph Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Crusaders  6-5. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by  just one  run.
 Max Gimbel made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Quentin Uhland, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.  Ethan Daldo was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases and one  run.
 Rock Academy pushed their record up to 17-3 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
