Softball Recap: Gonzales Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gonzales can now relate to. They came up short against the Devine Warhorses on Thursday, falling 11-0. Considering the last time the Apaches couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Gonzales is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12. As for Devine, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warhorses beat Gonzales by a score of 11-0 later that day.
