Volleyball Game Preview: Harding County Ranchers vs. Newell Irrigators + How To Watch

The Harding County Ranchers will take on the Newell Irrigators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harding County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Harding County won the last time they faced Lead-Deadwood and Lexy Rolph did her part to make sure it happened again. The Ranchers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golddiggers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Rolph, who had 21 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Harding County was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 21-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Newell had just enough and edged out Dupree 3-2 on Tuesday.

Newell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 24-26, 25-18, 25-23, 15-10.

Harding County's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Newell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Everything went Harding County's way against Newell in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Harding County made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Ranchers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Irrigators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
