Soccer Game Preview: Chapin vs. Wando

The Chapin Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Wando Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Chapin is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell just short of Gray Collegiate Academy by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Wando kept a clean sheet against A.C. Flora on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Falcons as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Chapin came out on top in a nail-biter against Wando when the teams last played back in May of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. Will Chapin repeat their success, or does Wando have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
