Softball Recap: Lake Stevens Vikings vs. Kamiak Knights
Lake Stevens lost against Kamiak back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings fell just short of the Knights by a score of 7-6.
Cora Quintel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That run was her first of the season. McKenna Richer was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Lake Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Kamiak, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Stevens will welcome Glacier Peak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kamiak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
