Woodburn is a perfect 6-0 against McKay since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Woodburn Bulldogs will head out to square off against the McKay Royal Scots at 7:00 p.m. McKay took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodburn, who comes in off a win.

Woodburn is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against South Albany, sneaking past 68-65. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Redhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, McKay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 72-56 fall against West Albany. While losing is never fun, the Royal Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 25th).

McKay's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Woodburn, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Woodburn didn't have too much breathing room in their match against McKay in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodburn since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
