Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Triumphs

Lincoln-Way West posted their closest victory since April 17th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Downers Grove South Mustangs. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Lincoln-Way West has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Downers Grove South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Lincoln-Way West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Glenbrook South on the 26th. As for Downers Grove South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Bolingbrook on the 26th.
