Softball Recap: Kimball Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

Kimball put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Albany Huskies a 7-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Kimball's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Kimball will head out on the road to take on Eden Valley-Watkins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Albany, they will venture away from home to square off against Alexandria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
