Wonewoc-Center scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 21-6 to the Hillsboro Tigers. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Jack Byrdy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Johnson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Wonewoc-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hillsboro, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.
