Andrews Made His Presence Known in Mountain Brook's 42-0 Win
Starting off the list is Mountain Brook's Stuart Andrews, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Andrews rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
Mountain Brook has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Andrews and Mountain Brook will head out on the road to challenge Shades Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Pell City found a leader in Brody Gossett as the squad took down Pinson Valley on Friday. Gossett was dynamite, throwing for 241 yards and a touchdown.
Pell City's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. Gossett and Pell City will venture away from home to challenge Central of Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Oxford Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Keenan Britt
Keenan Britt was instrumental in extending Oxford's winning streak to eight on Friday. Britt was dynamite, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles.
Oxford pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Britt will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Huffman on Thursday.

Oxford picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Richardson. Richardson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Clay-Chalkville's probably not too fond of Richardson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Richardson last faced the Cougars back in October of 2023, he picked up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
